SENIOR SESSION FAQ's
How do I book my Senior Session with you?
Once you've decided that you want to share your Senior Experience with us...contact us to finalize your booking. To book, if you select the "Digital Graduate" or "Senior Classic" Session...the session fee is required to be paid in full to book your date. If you select the "Digital Elite" or "Digital Premier" packages, we require a 50% retainer to be paid (50% of the selected package) and the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the shoot date we agree upon. ** PLEASE NOTE ** All Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. Due to he nature of our business and availability scheduling, if you do not secure a date, or fail to show up at your appointment, all payments are final and non-refundable. We make every effort to accommodate busy schedules (we know ALL ABOUT them) and last minute emergencies. We will do our best to work with you to secure a new date. Rescheduling requires a 14 day prior notice.
How far in advance should I book?
We have the amazing opportunity to shoot MANY Seniors across the Eastern Tennessee and our Premium dates (July-Oct) book up super fast and early. We suggest that as soon as the decision is made to to have us shoot your Senior Session that you go ahead and book for the coming season. Many of our Seniors book their session in January-May for the coming summer/fall dates.
Do I choose the locations or do you?
We STRONGLY encourage our Seniors to select locations that are meaningful to them and will be treasured for years to come in looking back over their Senior Session. Choosing a location that is important to you provides a sense of comfort and pride. We do have a number of locations that we can use of all types (Farm, Country, Water, Urban, etc.) that can be used if you are unable to select a suitable one.
How long does the session typically last?
Our Senior Sessions are typically 1-1.5 hours, but vary according to the package you select. Actual shooting time varies depending on any traveling from one location to another if desired. We will work together to ensure that we have plenty of time to get the images you need to make some amazing selections!
What should I bring to my Session?
EVERYTHING! We want this experience to be ALL ABOUT YOU! Whatever you are passionate about. Bring your car/truck, 4-wheeler, horse, sports gear, collectibles, etc. Whatever you want to include in your session, we'll do it! We'll discuss all of it during our initial meeting and get the locations that make the most sense to tell your story. We want to tell the whole story! So if you are going to showcase a sport- bring your complete uniform/gear/etc. just as if you were heading to the game. If you dance, ride, collect, or anything else under the sun...bring it all!
How many outfits should I bring?
We recommend 2-6 outfit choices. We may not get them all in, but it's better to have a selection for each different location/set-up to mix it up! The main thing is to make sure you come dressed as YOU! Don't run out and buy a bunch of outfits that doesn't truly represent you and your style. This will lead to you feeling uneasy and lacking confidence. All of which will show up in your images! BE SURE to bring plenty of accessories too! Hats, Necklaces, Bracelets, Rings, Belts, Scarves, etc. for EACH outfit. CHOICES, CHOICES, CHOICES!
Can I get some pictures with friends/family during my session?
This is YOUR Senior Session! We strongly encourage you to maximize your time with us and focus on you and your experience! We will allow a few images to include friends or family members, just know that this will take time away from your session. There is also a $50 charge that will be added to your session fee.
How far will you travel for my session?
The amount of travel involved to shoot your session where you want it is only limited to the investment you are willing to make to get us there! Anything outside of 30 minutes requires a travel fee that will be provided at the time the location is decided. We have shot Senior Portraits in a number of different states and love to travel!
How long until I see my images?
So your session is done and we had an AMAZING time together...now what? Your edited Digital Files will be delivered in approximately 2 weeks from your session date. If you choose the "Senior Classic" Session, we generally meet to review/order your prints and products within 2 weeks of your session date. There is a $100 deposit that is required for any appointment that is cancelled and requires rescheduling. This deposit becomes a print credit at the time of ordering.
Our order is placed, how long until we receive our order?
We have reconstructed our process this year to allow for quicker turn around times and faster deliveries! For prints and canvases, they will arrive in approximately 10-14 business days. For our highly sought after Senior Signature Albums, they are delivered in approximately 8-12 weeks. All orders are drop shipped to your home and are delivered via UPS.
Do you offer any discounts or sales?
We don't routinely offer any discounts or sales, BUT, we have an AMAZING rewards system for referrals! If you send us a referral, or 20!, and they book their session with us, your will receive a $50 Print Credit for each and every one! We have parents each year that show up to their review/ordering session with $500+ credit just through sharing your great experience with others! Just be sure they tell us you sent them when they contact us!
How long will you keep my images?
We will keep your images on file FOREVER...or at least as long as there is technology to view/use them. Once the initial review/ordering session is scheduled, any other date that is needed to meet again will require a $100 deposit. This deposit will become a credit at the time of meeting.
